Free State Constitution

We the People of the Free State in order to form a more perfect union of mind, body, and spirit, establish practices for thriving health and fitness, and cultivating inner tranquility, provide instruction, inspiration, accountability, community, and the meeting place for the practice of self mastery to promote the general sense of wellness and secure the blessings of vitality and movement freedom to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution of the Free States of Motion.

Bill of Health

Section 1: We realize Health and Fitness is a lifelong journey and an aspiration, not a destination or a fixed point.

Section 2: We acknowledge it’s a  journey of self mastery, and it’s through mastering of the self that we find freedom.

  • Physical movement freedom.
  • Freedom from illness and chronic disease.
  • Mental freedom you can only earn through the discipline of habit, releasing attachments, and embracing discomfort.

Section 3: Physical, mental, and spiritual health and fitness are interconnected and interdependent, so we attend to all of them as one integrated practice.

Section 4: Your tribe is your vibe…The people you surround yourself with have a powerful influence on you, so we’re intentional about cultivating a high vibration community.

Section 5: We engage in Regenerative Fitness that makes us feel more energetic, improves mental acuity, enhances vitality, physicality, and appearance without mortgaging future healthspan and longevity.

Section 6: We train to live well in old age with high levels of mental acuity, mobility, and fitness, not  just to live long. Enhancing Healthspan is our longevity North Star.

Section 7: We train to be strong…Strength training is the key to enhancing vitality now and healthspan later. The strongest people live the longest, with the best quality of life. Muscle mass is functional, it looks great, and it’s our greatest protection against chronic disease.

Section 8: We train to be mobile and elastic…Age isn’t a number, it’s how well your joints move and feel.

Section 9: We condition our energy systems intentionally to optimize metabolic function, cardiovascular health, and to improve cellular health so we thrive now, and far into the future free from chronic disease and  physical limitation.

Section 10: We take personal responsibility, knowing we are not victims of our past or genetics. We choose our future with the actions we take now knowing human genetics express themselves according to diet, exercise, lifestyle, the quality of relationships, our sense of purpose, and the quality of our mindset, so we intentionally choose to embody the qualities we desire.

Section 11: Progress is the daily goal, not perfection. It’s all a practice and we are all practicing to be more skilled travelers on this journey. Cultivating compassion for ourselves and others is essential.
